Real You — Privacy Policy

The short version

Real You is designed to keep your data on your iPhone. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no sale of data.

What stays on your device

Your questionnaire answers, intentions, streaks, voice recordings, and settings are stored only on your device (and in your device backups). Deleting the app deletes them.

What leaves your device, and why

To generate and polish your visualization, the app sends the minimum needed through our relay service (Cloudflare Workers) to two AI providers:

• Anthropic (Claude) — your first name and questionnaire answers (including your dream-morning text and any rewrite direction you type), to write your visualization script.
• ElevenLabs — your script text (to narrate it) and, if you enable studio cleanup, your voice recording (to remove background noise).

Our relay adds no identifiers beyond your IP address (used only for short-lived abuse rate-limiting) and stores none of the content. Providers process the data to fulfil the request under their own privacy terms. If you enter your own API keys in Settings, the app talks to those providers directly instead.

Permissions

Microphone (record your visualization), camera (scan your handwritten intention — never uploaded), speech recognition (transcribe your spoken answer, on device where available), notifications and alarms (your wake-up and reminders). Each is optional and requested in context.
